Surfing related back ground as professional lifeguard in North Devon and Australia, former Chair of British Surfing Association, Team Manager World Surfing Games 2000, surf coach and trainer/assessor.

 

Travelled to Sir Lanka after Tsunami and help set up a number of projects on the East Coast.

 

Professional background in sports and recreation management and currently government advisor on the management of cultural services in the public sector.

 

Committed the work of the charity and in the belief that the sport of surfing can make a real difference to the quality of life of disadvantaged people.

Has run Christian Surfers UK for the last 12 years - Last 4 years in a full time capacity, after 18 years in the logistics industry

Have been fortunate to have travelled extensively to some great Surf spots, and co-ordinated 5 short term trips to Sri Lanka, and led 3 teams there after the Tsunami.
Believes passionately in helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
